As part of our growth, we are looking to hire a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with expertise in the General/Health Insurance industry to lead and expand our sales team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager for our health insurance division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the General/Health Insurance sector, with a proven track record in team leadership, sales management, and business development. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building, managing, and training a team of Field Sales Executives to achieve sales targets, drive new business, and expand our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team Building & Leadership:
o Hire, train, and onboard a team of Field Sales Executives (FSEs) who will promote health insurance products to our existing and new clients.
o Develop and implement effective training programs for the sales team, ensuring they are well-versed in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
o Motivate, inspire, and lead the team to achieve individual and team targets while maintaining high levels of performance.
o Foster a collaborative, positive work environment that encourages teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Sales Strategy & Target Management:
o Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the business, focusing on both existing client relationships and new client acquisition.
o Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the sales team, regularly tracking performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
o Monitor field sales activities, providing feedback and support to drive improvements in sales performance.
o Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
• Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
o Oversee the sales team's efforts in targeting and acquiring new clients for health insurance products.
o Manage key client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
o Work closely with the marketing and customer support teams to enhance the customer experience and ensure smooth onboarding.
• Reporting & Performance Tracking:
o Prepare regular reports on sales performance, team progress, and market insights for senior management.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each sales team member, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure targets are met.
o Use CRM tools and other sales management systems to track leads, opportunities, and sales progress.
• Compliance & Market Knowledge:
o Ensure that all sales activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
o Stay updated on industry trends, health insurance products, and regulatory changes to maintain expertise and ensure the team’s knowledge remains current.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams:
o Work closely with other departments, including operations, claims, and underwriting, to ensure smooth processes and alignment in delivering services to clients.
o Provide feedback to product teams regarding customer needs and market demand, contributing to product development and enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Insurance-related certifications (e.g., IRDAI) are a plus.
• Experience:
o 5+ years of experience in the General/Health Insurance industry with a minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership or sales management role.
o Proven experience in hiring, training, and managing a team of field sales executives or similar positions.
o Strong knowledge of health insurance products, market dynamics, and sales techniques.
o Experience in managing KPIs and sales targets with a results-driven approach.
• Skills:
o Excellent leadership, team-building, and mentoring abilities.
o Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
o Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to sales.
o Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
o Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
o High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer orientation.
