Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead our luxury hotel operations and establish Hotel Bhagirathi as a premier destination in Haridwar's hospitality landscape.


 Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the hotel's vision as a luxury spiritual destination
  • Drive operational excellence across all departments while maintaining the property's unique positioning
  • Establish and maintain quality standards befitting a 5-star property
  • Manage and optimize revenue streams across rooms, F&B, and banqueting


 Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations of all departments including rooms division, F&B, housekeeping, and maintenance
  • Ensure seamless delivery of spiritual experiences including Yoga, Meditation, and Ganga Aarti programs
  • Manage the pure vegetarian F&B operations in compliance with local regulations
  • Supervise banqueting operations for both indoor (150 pax) and outdoor (250 pax) venues


 Financial Management

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial targets
  • Implement cost control measures while maintaining luxury service standards
  • Drive revenue optimization strategies across all business segments


 Guest Experience

  • Ensure exceptional guest service delivery across all touchpoints
  • Develop and implement innovative guest experience programs
  • Leverage the property's unique location and Ganga views to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Oversee the successful execution of spiritual and cultural activities


 Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team
  • Establish training programs to maintain 5-star service standards
  • Create a positive work culture aligned with the property's values
  • Ensure proper staffing levels across all departments


 Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of hospitality experience with at least 5 years in senior management
  • Prior experience as GM/Resident Manager in a 5-star property
  • Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards and operations
  • Experience in pre-opening or renovation projects preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Indian hospitality market and cultural sensitivities
  • Strong financial acumen and business development skills
  • Degree in Hotel Management from a recognized institution
