Descrial is technology product unit of Tres Vista with a mandate to build technology that can disrupt the private equity space. The unit is on mission to build what we call as Operating System for Investment work(W-OS) delivering smarter and faster ways of diligence, analysis and recommendation for investment decisions.Role OverviewAt Descrial, Tres Vista new tech product unit, design has always been at the heart of what makes our product beloved by customers. This role will be responsible to make every customer interaction an opportunity to deliver “it just works” experience. This role will also be critical in establishing a world-class design discipline and design team. You’ll work closely with leaders across the business and shape not just our products, but our people and the way we design and build.As a Principal Product Designer, you will be at the forefront of imagining and reimagining design for the next generation of AI -powered products. You will help define the future of Descrial experience, collaborating across teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies that make our product even more intuitive, intelligent, and powerful. This role will require you to be a thought leader, driving company-wide initiatives that blend design excellence with forward-thinking AI innovation, making Descrial product ecosystem smarter and more valuable for users.Your role will focus on leading design across key areas of Descrial’s lifecycle: activation, retention, and expansion. You’ll be the most senior IC designer driving these initiatives—leading complex system design, shaping experimentation strategies, and unlocking compounding user value across Descrial. Ensuring exceptional design craft within the organization by working closely with talented teams of Product Designers, Product Managers, Product Engineers, and Service Delivery, maintaining high standards of design excellence and precision.Roles and Responsibilities- Lead our strategic design competency for the lifecycle of Product interaction – activation, retention and renewal.- Proactively identify and define high-level opportunities across the product portfolio , that have the potential to transform the user experience and business outcomes.- Bring clarity, insight, and strategic focus to these challenges. Develop Users Journeys, approach backed by research and customer behavior- Take ownership of strategic, design-led projects, driving them from concept to delivery- Develop and implement innovative design patterns and systems that are durable, repeatable, and scalable.- Liaise with the Product team to understand user needs, psychology & product USPs and use it to design smooth in-app user experiences- Develop style standards on typography and graphic design- Have an iterative mindset- no design is perfect on the first attempt.- Be opinionated and back those opinions with strong logic.- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackPrerequisites- Knowledge of UX design best practices, including user interface ergonomics, knowledge of responsive design, data protection and security principles in Tech product environment- Expert level knowledge of human interaction design.- Balanced mindset when it comes to functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.- Experience with design and graphical tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar- Demonstrated experience in technology product design- Experience in Agile development environmentsExperience- 10+ years of experience with Figma or similar software.EducationBachelor’s degree in Design related field from premier design institution (NIFT/NID)
