As we continue to elevate our shopping experience, our India Tech Hub plays a key role in expanding our technology capabilities in Product Systems, Merchandising and Planning, Digital Presence, distribution and logistics, and corporate systems. Our team in India works as an extension of the global team on projects of strategic importance. This team is responsible for creating API’s and backend integration following microservices architecture principals on AWS cloud infrastructure stack. This Solution Architect position is a highly technical role with accountability for architecture scoped to business-transformative projects and is involved with projects from inception through implementation. We create space for team members to share feedback and ideas that can help us continually grow as an organization. We operate following agile framework and leverage multiple product teams across our various functions. As a Solution Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Project Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, Design and Development. You will ensure that the backend integrations are well designed using best practices to meet the scalability and reliability for growing global commerce business. The Architect partners with delivery teams to architect, design, and build flexible, scalable, and resilient applications and services that can more easily adapt to future business needs. Lead solution architecture aligned with enterprise standards, using reusable frameworks and components. Support system implementation, including development and configuration. Maintain architecture documentation, including current and future-state models. Participate in technology reviews, audits, and help design operational support plans. Mentor team members build scalable and high-performance solutions. Bachelor's Degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science with 8-15 years’ experienc e ~4+ years of experience architecting and designing any cloud solutions (AWS/ Azure/ GCP/Oracle) including container services, serverless architecture, high availability and infrastructure. ~2+ years of experience with CI/CD t ools (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, others). ~ Experience with microservices and event/message-driven distributed systems ~ Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is preferred ~ Basic experience with monitoring and APM tools such as Datadog/Prometheus, Grafana/Splunk or others ~ Exposure to Oracle Retail POS Suite (Xstore, Xenvironment, Xadmin, Xcenter, and XServices), OpChain Framework, and Oracle Database is an added advantage. ~ Experience with Retail domain, Retail systems architecture and mobile technologies is preferred ~5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java (J2SE) and Advanced Java (J2EE). ~ Must be capable of providing leadership for junior and senior software engineers alike, understands how to leverage and enhance their current skills
