Location: Chennai-Based (Hybrid / Onsite preferred; remote possible for the right candidate) Engagement: Consulting / Advisory Industry: FinTech (Home Loan Savings Platform) About FinPe FinPe is India’s first data-driven home loan savings platform , founded by the former Digital Growth Leader of Shriram Finance who scaled their digital business to a ₹2,000+ crore monthly run rate . FinPe helps homebuyers and existing borrowers save ₹5–25 lakhs in interest by optimizing home loan decisions through real-time data and insights. We are now preparing for our angel funding round and are looking for a Chennai-based consultant to support and guide the process. Role Overview We are seeking a Chennai-based Angel Funding Consultant with proven experience in early-stage fundraising. The consultant will help prepare investor materials, refine our pitch, connect with relevant angel investors, and guide us through the closure of our first investment round. Key Responsibilities Advise the founding team on angel funding strategy and investor positioning. Refine the pitch deck , financial model , and narrative for investor presentations. Identify, shortlist, and connect FinPe with relevant angel investors, syndicates, and micro-VCs , preferably those active in Chennai/India. Coach the founder for investor meetings and due diligence preparation. Support in negotiation and closure of the term sheet . Provide ongoing strategic fundraising guidance as needed. Requirements Prior experience helping startups raise angel or seed-stage funding . Strong network of angel investors, syndicates, or micro-VCs (Chennai network preferred). Understanding of fintech, lending, or financial services is a plus. Ability to craft compelling investment stories and financial narratives. Excellent communication and investor-facing skills. Available for flexible consulting (5–10 hours/week depending on need). Must be based in Chennai or able to closely collaborate with the Chennai founding team.
