About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bid Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience managing bids for government tenders, including RFP analysis, tender form completion, and proposal submission. This role requires expertise in end-to-end bid lifecycle management, a solid understanding of government procurement processes, and a strategic approach to creating winning proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Management:
Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to determine eligibility and alignment with organizational goals.
Complete and submit tender forms and required documentation accurately and on time.
Coordinate with internal teams, including finance, technical, and sales, to gather information and meet tender requirements.
Proposal Development:
Develop high-quality, competitive proposals aligned with government tender guidelines.
Ensure compliance with all tender specifications, evaluation criteria, and submission deadlines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailored solutions for tender submissions.
Client and Vendor Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients and stakeholders.
Liaise with vendors, OEMs, and subcontractors to secure necessary documentation and support.
Strategy and Process Improvement:
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and strengthen bid strategies.
Identify areas for improvement in the bid management process and implement best practices.
Maintain a repository of reusable content, templates, and documentation for future tenders.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all bids adhere to government procurement policies and standards.
Track and report on bid outcomes, success rates, and overall performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
5-6 years of experience in bid management, with a focus on government tenders and RFPs.
Strong knowledge of government procurement platforms and processes.
Proficiency in proposal writing tools and project management software.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in IT, infrastructure, or related industries is a plus.
Knowledge of competitive pricing models and strategies.
Certifications in project or bid management (e.g., PMP, APMP) are advantageous
