Sky Volt Pvt Ltd is a leading turnkey EPC player in the Indian PV solar industry. With an experienced in-house design, engineering, and construction team, we specialize in developing cost-effective and energy-efficient PV solar plants of any scale, ranging from Kilo Watt to Mega Watt. As one of the fastest-growing rooftop and distributed solar EPC companies, we have successfully commissioned over 10 MW projects and have 10 MW under execution across India.
Key Responsibilities:
·        Coordinate site surveys to ensure suitability for solar PV installation. Assess site conditions, including
topography, shading, and environmental factors, to optimize solar panel placement.
·        Supervise construction activities, including solar panel installation, mounting structure assembly, electrical wiring, and equipment setup. Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols
·        Oversee the installation and commissioning of solar PV components, including solar panels, inverters, racking systems, and balance-of-system components. Verify proper equipment alignment, connectivity and functionality.
·        Conduct quality inspections and audits to verify compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify and address any construction defects or deficiencies to maintain project quality.
·        Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. Conduct regular safety inspections, provide safety training, and address any safety concerns or hazards promptly
·        Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to resolve construction-related issues, equipment malfunctions, and installation challenges. Collaborate with project stakeholders to address technical queries and ensure project success.
·        Maintain accurate project documentation, including site reports, construction logs, as-built drawings, and equipment manuals. Provide regular progress updates, milestone reports, and incident reports to project management teams.
·        Manage on-site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and productivity. Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
·        Liaise with project managers, design engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project execution and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts.
·        Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement through innovation and best practices. Implement lessons learned from previous projects to improve future project outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications:
·        Diploma/Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field
·        Proven experience in construction or site engineering roles, preferably in the solar energy industry.
·        Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, construction techniques, and electrical installations.
·        Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing solar energy projects.
·        Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
·        Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
·        Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse project teams and
stakeholders.
·        Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve
conflicts.
·        Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
·        Willingness to work in outdoor environments and travel to project sites as needed.
