Senior Full Stack Developer/Product Owner – API Management
About Dynalight
Dynalight is an innovative company founded by industry experts with more than 20 years of experience. We have developed our own Cloud based, Saa S, API Management System (also called Dynalight) based on Kong Community Edition and are currently increasing our sales effort to market this to new clients. This means that the product is evolving fast and we constantly need to decide what functionalities to add (or not).

About the Job
Dynalight API Management has been developed based on the requirements and specifications of one of the global top 50 companies and we still communicate with them on a daily basis regarding bugs, enhancement requests and day-to-day management of the platform. Dynalight is 100% Cloud based and has been designed to process exceptionally high volumes (at this moment up to 6 Billion requests per month) and to be always on. These extreme requirements are reflected in our attention to detail and the ambition to deliver all changes the first time right. You will be able to work from home most of the time but some office time is required (2 days a week) which is why we insist that you live in Chennai within a reasonable distance from our office.
As a senior developer, we expect you to actively participate in the future of our product and to get actively involved in planning and scoping future releases, take responsibility for testing and deployments and to participate in meetings with clients and prospects.
Additional Information
This job post will remain active until the 20th of December. The (live or video) interviews will take place asap but no later than the 20th of December. The hiring process is being managed by Sandhiya Madhubalan (Head of Development and GM India and Peter van Gils (VP International). A final interview with William Sroussi (President and CEO) may be included.

Profile Description:
1.        Capability to work both in a team and solo, based on weekly briefs and instructions. Proactive and independent input to problems and issues.
2.        Handle a mixed workload of support tickets, short term activities and long term projects.
3.        Communicate effectively both internally and externally. Direct communications over phone and email with our customers is required.
4.        Comfortable with working in a team using Agile methodology - Kanban method.
5.        Intelligent, creative, eye for detail, pro-active, disciplined and confident. Can do mentality.
6.        Proficiency in written and oral English is compulsory
Required Competences:
-      Hands-on experience with API Management solutions (Kong or other) is mandatory
-      Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
-      Frameworks: Angular JS, Vue.js, Express JS and Symfony (PHP).
-      Database: My SQL, Postgre SQL and Mongo Db.
-      Version Control: Github or Bitbucket
-      Development environment: Docker and Kubernetes
-      Proficiency in Java Script and PHP is required.
-      Some experience with basic Shell scripting and Python will help you gain plus points.
