The Senior Procurement Manager will be responsible for supplier evaluation, procurement, contract negotiation, and contract management. The role involves analytical tasks to ensure efficient procurement strategies and day-to-day management of procurement processes for ground-mounted solar projects.Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement Strategy & Planning- Develop and execute procurement strategies for all critical project packages in line with project timelines and budgets.- Coordinate with design, engineering, and project teams to finalize BOQs and technical specifications.- Plan material sourcing schedules and ensure alignment with project milestones.- Build and maintain an updated procurement tracker for all ongoing and upcoming projects.2. Vendor Development & Management- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for solar PV modules, inverters, MMS, cables, transformers, and other project items.- Manage the end-to-end vendor relationship—RFQ floating, bid evaluation, price comparison, negotiation, and order finalization.- Maintain a vendor performance database, focusing on quality, delivery, and commercial performance.- Develop alternative sourcing channels to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure competitive pricing.3.
