Job summary Seasoned culinary professional/Sous chef who wish to get involved in new product development that look and taste good. Finding deployment tactics for current designs that are known to team and if required make required alterations in consultation with department heads. Conducting internal and consumer testing, observing market trends and modifying recipes/menu. Roles & Responsibility Long & mid-term new product development in alignment with organization goals and objectives. Collaborate with the Growth and Operations, to explore the feasibility of potential new products. Closely work with the team to test out new recipes and formulate as per set standards. Ensure that all recipes and product yields are accurately costed and reviewed regularly. Hands-on approach to all operational aspects. Ensure proper processes and procedures are designed and apply corrective action wherever required. Detail oriented, process driven. Exposure to ideas and current trends in the market to stay ahead of the curve. Good knowledge of food safety management processes and procedures. Ideal training and coaching skills. To be aware of all financial budgets and goals. Pre Requisites : Minimum qualification B.Sc. Hotel Management Years of Experience : 4-6 years Communication skills (English), spoken and written Functional & behavioral Competencies : Written &; Verbal Communication Customer Feedback System Computer Skills Equipment Knowledge & Management Safety & Hygiene Practices Team Building & Orientation Customer Centricity Managing Crisis Decision Making
