VASA Indica is a pioneering retail-as-a-service platform in Delhi’s high-fashion Chhatarpur district, where digital-first and emerging brands find a vibrant physical presence. We host over 60-70 curated brands, blending fashion, accessories, and lifestyle products. Our mission is to create a unique shopping experience and amplify the reach of these brands through creative marketing, events, and expert retail solutions.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Store Manager to lead our store operations. With 8-10 years in multi-brand retail, you’ll oversee all aspects of store management, from sales and staff coordination to inventory and backroom operations. The Store Manager is a hands-on leader who ensures smooth operations, drives sales, manages team dynamics, and provides strategic insights to the management. You’ll also be a key collaborator for the marketing and merchandising teams, sharing data-driven insights and overseeing event support, brand onboarding, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations & Sales Management : Drive sales by managing and mentoring the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer service and performance.
- Inventory & QC Oversight : Lead the backroom team, oversee inventory accuracy, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Analytics & Reporting : Analyze store performance metrics, customer insights, and inventory trends, providing actionable insights and performance updates to management.
- Team Leadership : Manage and support the entire store team, resolving conflicts, maintaining a positive work environment, and coordinating attendance and schedules.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with the Marketing Lead on event execution and campaigns, and with the Merchandiser on brand selection, onboarding, and replenishment.
- Administrative & Vendor Relations : Handle store administration, including landlord coordination, scheduling, and general upkeep.
- Customer & Brand Engagement : Foster customer relationships, assist in onboarding new brands with the Merchandiser, and adapt product mix based on seasonal and customer needs.
Skills & Experience Required
- 8-10 years of experience in store management, sales, or logistics operations within a multi-brand retail environment.
- Strong sales background with a deep understanding of customer engagement in fashion or lifestyle retail.
- Excellent organizational skills, with experience in inventory and quality control management.
- Proficient in analyzing performance metrics, inventory data, and customer insights to drive decision-making.
- Effective leader and communicator, adept at managing team dynamics and fostering a collaborative, positive environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to wear multiple hats, prioritize, and take ownership of the store's success.
