Senior Student Counsellor

Location: Hyderabad, IndiaOrganisation: South Australian College of English (SACE) - Hyderabad FranchisePosition Overview:The Senior Student Counsellor will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective and currentstudents through their learning and career pathways at SACE Hyderabad. The role involvesproviding expert counselling for IELTS, PTE, and English language programs, supporting studentswith admissions, and fostering positive relationships to enhance enrolment growth.The successful candidate will combine strong interpersonal skills with a deep understanding ofinternational education pathways, ensuring students achieve their academic and migrationgoals while upholding the high standards of the SACE brand.Key Responsibilities:Student Counselling & Admissions:• Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions to prospective students regardingIELTS, PTE, and English programs.• Guide students on course selection based on their academic, professional, andmigration objectives.• Assist students with registration, documentation, and orientation processes.• Counsel students on study abroad opportunities, pathways, and eligibility requirementsin coordination with SACE HQ.Enrolment & Conversion:• Convert student inquiries into confirmed enrolments through effective counselling andfollow-up.• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective students through timely communication(phone, email, in-person, digital platforms).• Ensure enrolment targets are consistently achieved and reported.• Track and update student inquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM/StudentManagement System.Liaison & Coordination:• Work closely with the Centre Manager, academic team, and marketing staff to deliver aseamless student experience.• Liaise with education agents, schools, colleges, and universities to generate referralsand build strong networks.• Coordinate mock test schedules, workshops, and student information sessions.Student Support & Retention:• Provide ongoing support to enrolled students, addressing academic and personalconcerns.• Monitor student progress and collaborate with trainers to ensure positive outcomes.• Organise orientation programs, parent sessions, and academic counselling initiatives.• Ensure high levels of student satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.Compliance & Reporting:• Ensure adherence to SACE policies, academic standards, and franchise compliancerequirements.• Maintain accurate student records, reports, and documentation.• Prepare regular reports on admissions, student progress, and counselling activities formanagement review.Qualifications & Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field (Master’spreferred).• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in student counselling within the IELTS/PTE, Englishcoaching, or international education sector.• Strong knowledge of IELTS and PTE exam formats and study abroad pathways.• Proven track record of achieving enrolment and conversion targets.• Experience working with education franchises or international institutes is highlydesirable.Skills & Competencies:• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.• Strong counselling and persuasion abilities.• Customer-focused with empathy and cultural sensitivity.• Ability to multitask and manage high volumes of inquiries.• Proficiency in MS Office and student management/CRM systems.• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.Remuneration:Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.About SACE Hyderabad Franchise:The South Australian College of English (SACE) is an internationally recognised leader inEnglish language education.
