Fueling Brains Academy is an early learning center for the kids ages 0- 6 years with 10 campuses across Canada and USA. At Fueling Brains Academy we are currently looking to hire an Recruiter (Bulk Hiring Non-technical role) to support on-site Academies in Canada and USA.
Supporting our HR team in identifying hiring needs and filling job openings in Canada and USA by sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, and filing paperwork. He or She will also be responsible for onboarding the new employees.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and will be detail-oriented and up-to-date with employment legislation.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Identifying current and future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
- Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
- Attracting suitable candidates through online employment forums, social media and company’s talent pool etc.
- Conduct interviews via phone or in-person
- Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
- Serve as contact person for questions from candidates
- Conducting in-person interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
- Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best match the open positions.
- Completing paperwork for new hires.
- Onboarding the new hires and helping them transition into their new roles comfortably.
- Keeping up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company.
- Providing recruitment updates to department managers.
- Creating HR documents such as policies, job descriptions, forms, reports etc.
- Strong grasp of employees benefit plan and experience of handling benefits documentation and responding to the benefits related employee queries in a professional manner.
Essential skills and experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management.
- Strong recruitment background in the field of Early childhood education within the public and private schools.
- 5-7 years of experience with recruitment processes and databases.
- The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
- Experience on Rippling ATS is a Must
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge on Linked In Hiring and Boolean Search.
- A working knowledge of employment laws and legislation.
- This is fulltime work from home role with timings for USA and Canada timelines the candidate must be open for night shifts.
- The candidate must have 25mbps of internet, dedicated office space and laptop
- Experience working with Google Office suite
- High-energy and passion
- Ability to meet tough timelines
- Excellent Stakeholder management skills.
