Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Java Spring Boot Developer with hands-on experience in building and deploying microservices and working with JDBC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of scalable and robust applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Application Development:
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, and JDBC.
• Build and deploy RESTful APIs for microservices.
2. Database Management:
• Design, implement, and optimize relational database schemas.
• Write complex SQL queries, procedures, and scripts for database interactions.
3. Microservices Architecture:
• Design and implement scalable microservices using Spring Boot.
• Ensure seamless communication between microservices using RESTful APIs and messaging systems.
4. Performance Optimization:
• Optimize application performance by fine-tuning queries and code.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production and pre-production environments.
5. Collaboration:
• Work closely with front-end developers, testers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies (Scrum or Kanban).
6. Documentation:
• Create and maintain technical documentation for code and processes.
Required Skills:
• Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of Java (JDK 8 or above).
• Frameworks: Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
• Database:
• Hands-on experience with JDBC.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Microservices:
• Experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Understanding of API gateways, service discovery, and monitoring tools.
• Tools & Technologies:
• Proficient in Maven/Gradle, Git, and build tools.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka is a plus.
• Testing: Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent frameworks.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
