We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in SQL Server to play a key role in the development and performance optimization of our database systems. While the primary focus is on SQL Server, the role also offers opportunities to engage in backend development using Node.js and .Net, with training provided where needed. This is an ideal role for someone who excels in database design and performance tuning but is open to expanding their skills in backend technologies.

Mandatory Skills: T-SQL, MSSQL , Azure SQL hands is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, manage, and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, functions, and complex SQL queries.
  • Monitor and tune database performance to ensure fast and reliable system operations.
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues, ensuring data integrity and stability in high-transaction environments.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate database solutions with backend services (Node.js and .Net), with the option for training in these areas.
  • Contribute to system design discussions, focusing on database architecture and optimization strategies.
  • Stay updated with best practices in SQL Server and backend development, and apply them to improve existing systems.
  • Backend Development Exposure (Training Provided If needed):
  • Participate in backend development using Node.js and .Net as needed, with an opportunity to learn and grow in these technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and stored procedure development.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server management and performance tuning.
  • Willingness to learn backend development (Node.js and .Net) and contribute to backend systems as needed.
  • Experience in high-transaction environments with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with Azure SQL is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
