Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive the successful execution of key technical projects at our startup. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products, from planning through to deployment. While you will work on a variety of initiatives, a key focus will be AI-driven projects, including model development and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead the execution of technical initiatives, from inception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering , Product , Data Science , and Business teams to drive project success and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.
Agile & Scrum Leadership: Facilitate Scrum of Scrums , sprint planning, and agile ceremonies, collaborating with teams across engineering, infrastructure, and security.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and resolve issues, providing visibility to leadership and ensuring swift resolutions to maintain project momentum.
Release Management: Oversee the release process, ensuring smooth deployment of features, and manage status communication across teams.
Systemic Problem Solving: Address any systemic roadblocks impacting project delivery and work with teams to implement solutions.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Technical Program Manager in fast-paced environments, preferably in startups or R&D.
Skills: Proficient with JIRA , Confluence , and Git Lab.
Strong background in managing complex projects, using Agile methodologies.
Experience with AI model development or machine learning is a plus, but not required.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to influence and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Autonomy & Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and solve problems creatively.
