Installation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:- Execute installation of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways at customer sites.- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality installations.- Supervise and lead on-site technicians or contractors as required.- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical standards.- Ensure proper handling and usage of installation tools and equipment.- Maintain documentation related to installation progress, issues, and quality checks.- Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related technical problems.- Liaise with the commissioning and service teams post-installation for handover.- Adhere to company and statutory safety norms at all times.Requirements:- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.- 6+ years of experience in elevator/escalator installation or related field preferred.- Familiarity with elevator installation standards and codes (IS, EN, etc.).- Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Physically fit and willing to work at heights or in challenging site environments.- Good communication and team coordination skills.- Valid driving license preferred.
