Location: Balewadi, Pune
Technical skills and core competencies
Hands-on experience in SQL is must.
An ability to understand and manipulate intermediate to complex level of SQL queries for Data warehouse, query optimization experience is required.
Thorough knowledge of Postgres PL/SQL to work with complex warehouse workflows.
Ability to use advanced SQL concepts such as RANK, DENSE_RANK along with applying advanced statistical concepts through SQL is required.
Hands-on experience in Data modelling is required. Knowledge of specific designs like Star Schema, Snowflake schema is highly desirable.
Working experience with Post Gres SQL extensions like Post GIS is desired.
Expertise writing ETL pipelines combining Python + SQL is required.
Understanding of data manipulation libraries in python like Pandas, Polars, Duck DB is desired
Good hands-on on Linux OR any other similar distributions, viz. Ubuntu, Cent OS, RHEL/Red Hat, etc.
Experience in creating, and optimizing, data models suited for data analysts used in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI is good to have.
Experience with DBT or Dataform is desirable.
Responsibilities
Participate in the design and developing features in the existing Data Warehouse.
Design, implement, update existing/new batch ETL pipelines
Use python scripts, existing python modules to write data workflows
Partner with both engineers and data analysts to build reliable datasets that can be trusted, understood, and used by the rest of the company.
Familiarity with data orchestration (Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect or any current orchestration tool)
Embrace a fast-paced start-up environment.
You should be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced international working environment.
Background or experience in the telecom industry is a plus but not a requirement.
Love automating and enjoy monitoring
