About The Role:
As a Video Editor at Wiingy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our educational content for YouTube and other platforms. You will be responsible for editing high-quality long-form and short-form videos that engage and inspire our target audience of students, parents, and educators.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including tutorials, explainer videos, campaign content, and creative series, as we expand our reach and influence in the US market.
Job Title: Video Editor - Intern
Location: On-site (Bangalore, HSR)
Duration of Internship: 4 months
Work Policy: Work from the office 6 days a week
Stipend: Rs 25,000 p.m.
Conversion to full-time role: Yes, at the end of the internship subject to performance
Key Responsibilities:
1. Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube and other social platforms, ensuring top-notch quality and alignment with Wiingy's brand.
2. Collaborate with content managers, Subject matter experts, and marketing teams to execute the creative vision for each project.
3. Enhance video content with compelling visuals, transitions, sound effects, and graphics.
4. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to deliver innovative and engaging video content.
5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
6. Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve video outputs.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: 6 months + experience in video editing, preferably for YouTube or digital content platforms.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.
3. Creative Flair: Strong storytelling and visual design skills with an eye for detail.
4. Platform Knowledge: Understanding of YouTube algorithms, audience engagement strategies, and content optimization.
5. Time Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
6. Communication: Strong collaborative skills and the ability to incorporate feedback effectively.
7. Portfolio: A diverse portfolio showcasing your editing expertise and creativity is required.
