Join us in shaping the future of decentralised data ownership, built on secure, privacy-centric innovations Your Role: Test Automation Engineer As a Test Automation Engineer, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of the i Grant.io Organisation Wallet Suite. This suite powers the core digital identity wallet infrastructure, including issuer, verifier, and holder services, as well as the data wallet mobile app. Most test automation efforts will focus on the backend components, validating APIs, microservices, and integrations. However, your role may also extend to testing the mobile app to ensure end-to-end quality. Your Responsibilities Build and evolve automation frameworks across multiple stacks (Python, Go, Java Script, Kotlin, Swift) to validate APIs, microservices, and mobile apps. Design, develop, and maintain test suites for functional, integration, regression, performance, and stress testing (using tools like Pytest, Go testing frameworks, Jest, Espresso, XCUITest, Appium, and Locust). Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Fastlane, Docker, Docker Compose) to ensure rapid, reliable feedback and deployment. Improve test strategy and methodology by collaborating with development and Dev Ops teams, defining acceptance criteria, and promoting testing best practices. Drive visibility and quality insights through code quality tools (Sonar Qube), test reporting, and metrics Contribute to engineering culture, ensuring that automated testing is a first-class citizen in the software development lifecycle. Key Qualifications 3+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong background in backend, microservices, and API validation. Proficiency in Python, Go, Java Script, Kotlin, and Swift for writing and maintaining tests. Hands-on experience with popular test frameworks, such as: Python: Pytest, unittest, Robot Framework Go: Go testing packages, Testify, Ginkgo Java Script/Type Script: Jest, Playwright, Cypress Android (Kotlin): Espresso, UIAutomator i OS (Swift): XCTest, XCUITest Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with Git Hub Actions and Fastlane. Experience with Sonar Qube for code quality and Locust for stress/performance testing. Strong understanding of containerization and local test environments using Docker & Docker Compose. Methodical, detail-oriented, and passionate about raising the testing bar in fast-moving engineering teams. Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to influence developers, Dev Ops, and product stakeholders. Fluent in English and comfortable working in distributed, agile teams.
