Mashreq is transforming and expanding its Corporate Platforms to Digital Banking solutions to include Corporate Digital Experience, Host to Host, Liquidity Management , Payments, Corporate Collections , Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance across all its geographies. The new platforms are in different stages of evolution and implementation. This Job is being created to Head the Run The Bank Function for Corporate Global Transaction Banking Systems used across regions (UAE, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Hong Kong, UK, USA) to support the new Digital banking platform. The technology stack compromising cloud based microservices architecture and Oracle Digital Banking Platform with 200 servers across Production, UAT and Development environments. It also integrated with multiple downstream systems which support the several critical customer journeys. Payment (via Matrix/OBDX/OBPay) 100,000 plus volume transactions. Trade Finance (Matrix/OBTF/OBTM) Supply chain (iMX Front end and Product processor). Salary & Pension transfer (bulk uploads – Matrix/OBDX) 20,000 plus transactions volume. Host 2 Host (Swift File Connect) – Matrix/OBDX 40,000 plus transactions volume. Liquidity Cash Management ( Matrix/OBLM). Collections(CCS, DigiCollect) Customer Onboarding (Matrix/OBDX) Factoring(Kastle/IMS) This role provides for a technical and functional expertise/capability in Corporate Banking Application Management to ensure health and wellness of this GTB production system for High availability of services and consequent revenue growth for the bank. The GTB platform consists of more than 100 plus servers across cloud and on prem on production and UAT systems. This role requires expertise in maintenance 24X7 monitoring planning DR and BCP activities. The role envisages, continuous collaboration with all the stakeholders like Downstream Systems, Command Center and Service Management for Monitoring , Incident and Problem Management, CSU for customer interactions, complaints, feedback and experience, Operations for administration and reconciliation, GRC for governance , Product for Change management, Business for requirements and issue analysis, Development team for implementation of change, Vendors for product upgrades and support , ISG for info security, Infrastructure and Network for enterprise management, Risk Management for managing technology risk and in order to keep the system up and running 24/7 by eliminating high severity incidents due to application failure and there by improve Customer Experience. Key Result Areas:-- Provide expertise in improving the customer experience by implementation of ideas, functions and operations for resolving customer issues and proactively identifying potential application failures. Provide technical expertise and thought leadership to maintain and support customer facing systems/channels to meet product and organizational objectives to be #1 Digital Bank. Effective Vendor Management. Domain Expertise of Corporate Transaction banking; expert knowledge and exposure of Banking applications/platforms in cross functional areas of Payments, Liquidity Cash, Collections, Supply Chain, Trade Finance; expertise and hands on experience to facilitate technology solution delivery for the bank especially in CIBG function. Strong technical skills, can cut across multiple groups in a large and complex structured IT setup, specifically act as a bridge between business and technology for high quality delivery of solutions that meet business goals and requirements. Accountable for the appropriateness of technology solutions delivered to, and the ongoing support and stability of, all applications/modules related to the Corporate Digital Banking platform, including OBDX, H2H, Collections and SCF front end’s , mobile banking in collaboration with back end teams. Setup Monitoring systems for proactive alerting of system issues and maintain a low incidence of high severity incidents. Triaging production bugs, impact & change analysis, and document. Ensure quality fixes. Co-ordinate between business users, technology team members and liaise with vendors for any support, clarifications, or assignments. Co-ordinate with team resources to complete assigned tasks within BAU targets and SLA. Prepare a run plan for DR activities and work with stakeholders to execute DR. Participate and coordinate BCP activities. Review proposals, SRS for suitability to organization standards – functionality, security, architectural and technology fitment. Review source code quality, test quality and coverage against the deliverables, identify and flag adverse effects of any changes, if any. Deliver services within agreed timeframe, budget parameters and performance targets. Execution of maintenance tasks as part of ongoing operational and strategic initiatives. Ensure the servers are patched time to time and are kept up to date Ensure User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases are signed off prior to change movement to production. Supervise production transfers ensuring procedural documentation and functional verification is complete. Participate in audit and other compliance activities as assigned and complete action items for mitigation and rectification. Assist efforts to improve maintainability, up time and performance of transactional and workflow line of business applications. Perform call analysis to identify root cause of reoccurring service degradation issues. Perform incident reporting and engage stakeholders to conclude Root Cause Analysis (RCA), including recommendations and plan for agreed action. Ensure systems (hardware and software) in all environments meet security baseline standards. Plan, assign, adjust and monitor shifts to have proper coverage. Define SOP for Support team listing daily, Weekly, Monthly Tasks for Team members. Knowledge, Skills and Experience:-- 20+ Yrs experience in Delivering Corporate Banking Technology with exposure to live 24X7 Production systems. Cross border team management experience. Strong business orientation, domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements. Strong organizational, team building and leadership qualities. Engineer / Post Graduate with 20+ years of experience in Corporate Banking application hands on experience with product designing and delivery of changes in Production environment.. Minimum 12 years in team management, project management , managing core implementation. Knowledge of Banking domain is a must. Having Extensive hands on experience in Payments and Liquidity solutions Should have worked on supporting Technology Product systems within Banking. Strong understanding of SDLC process Strong inter personal communication skills Experience of Banking Operations in particular Payments, Collections, Liquidity Cash Management, Supply Chain and Trade Finance. Payments and other related Banking channels Excellent Program Management Experience Experience of managing 24 x 7 large scale Production Banking Application maintenance across multiple Geographies. Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation. Ability to interpret solution documentation and identify areas of concern and recommend approach. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment. Ability to document and define the SOP for large scale banking applications Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project manager. Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces. Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support.
