Senior Design Engineer – Capital Logic / Zuken E3

  • Years of experience – 4 to 6
  • Job Location – Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in Capital Logic / Zuken E3 tool
  • Hands on experience of software for wiring harness design & logic creation.
  • Hands on experience of software for wiring harness drawing creation in Capital XC Software
  • Experience in OEM Vehicle harness development
  • Experience in circuit analysis & design calculations
  • Implementing the Changes as per ECN.
  • Experience in Preparation of interface circuit schematics and wiring harness drawings.
  • Knowledge in Electrical components selection and finalization for Wiring Harness.
  • Understanding of Automotive EDS development process
  • Understanding of Harness Weight and Cost optimization
  • Knowledge of other vehicle aggregates for interface / Integration
  • Understanding of VA-VE activities.
  • Strong knowledge of design basics.
  • Good understanding of Capital Logic Design Simulations of circuits.
  • Good Understanding of UG Visualization mockup / Teamcenter

Knowledge, Abilities & Experience

  • Experience in OEM vehicle harness development.
  • Experience in VAVE, Harness Weight and Cost optimization.
  • Good understanding of selection of Connectors and Terminals, fuses based on the requirement.
  • Good understanding of design regulations and standards for Indian and international markets.
  • Knowledge of Harness connectors, bundle diameter and wire cross section calculation.
  • Understanding of Homologation and safety standards.
  • Good understanding of key milestones in product development.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in electrical engineering / mechanical or equivalent from reputed Institution / University

Preferred Skills

  • Communication and Presentation Skills, Project Management
  • Software – Zuken E3, Capital Logic, Capital XC Team Centre and MS Office proficiency

Experience Band

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in wiring harness schematic creation in Capital Logic
