Job Purpose To support Creditsafe’s internal audit function by evaluating the effectiveness of information security and business continuity controls to help provide assurance on compliance with the requirements of ISO27001 and ISO22301.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits of information security and business continuity controls, processes, and policies and prepare appropriate improvement recommendations.
Identify potential vulnerabilities, risks, and non-compliances in information security and business continuity systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend effective mitigations.
Draft detailed audit reports highlighting findings, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
Contribute to enhancing the organisation’s information security management system (ISMS) and business continuity management system (BCMS).
Stay updated on emerging information security and business continuity frameworks and standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
Ad hoc tasks to support the Information Security Audit Manager.
Key Skills and Experience Required
Experience :
At least one year of experience in auditing information security controls, preferably in a financial services environment.
Exposure to ISO27001 / information security auditing is essential.
Experience with ISO22301 / business continuity is highly desirable.
Certifications :
ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification (required).
ISO22301 Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
Qualification by relevant experience will be considered.
Familiarity with equivalent frameworks will be an advantage.
Knowledge:
Good understanding of ISO27001 requirements, risk management, control objectives.
Familiarity with ISO22301 requirements of business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
Skills :
Ability to interpret and evaluate information security and business continuity practices.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and communicate risks effectively.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Good report-writing and presentation skills.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Developmental Opportunities
Expand expertise in auditing frameworks relevant to financial services.
Develop skills in risk-based internal auditing.
Professional development in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST, DORA or GDPR compliance).
