Job Description: Internal Auditor
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

About the Role:
Country Chicken Co. is seeking a meticulous and analytical Internal Auditor to evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, financial systems, and compliance processes. The Internal Auditor will work closely with the management team to identify risks, implement controls, and enhance organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Audit Planning & Execution:
• Develop and execute internal audit plans in alignment with the company’s goals.
• Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
2. Risk Assessment:
• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in processes across departments.
• Recommend strategies to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
3. Compliance Monitoring:
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of financial records, inventory management, and transaction documentation.
4. Process Improvement:
• Evaluate existing workflows and recommend improvements to streamline operations.
• Analyze inventory management, procurement, and sales processes for discrepancies or inefficiencies.
5. Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Present audit results and actionable insights to senior management.
6. Follow-Up:
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions recommended in audits.
• Ensure continuous improvement in internal controls and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CA, CIA, CISA) is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in internal auditing or a related role.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of auditing standards, risk management, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
