As an ARM-Events at SmartQ, your primary goal will be to oversee and play a crucial role in the entire lifecycle of an event, from initial planning to post-event evaluation, ensuring that every detail contributes to the success of the organization. Budget Management: Create and manage a budget for the event, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and kept within budget constraints. Identify and secure an appropriate venue for the event, considering factors like location, capacity, accessibility, and cost. Hire and manage vendors such as caterers, decorators, audio-visual teams, and entertainment providers. Event Design and Planning: Develop a detailed event plan, including timelines, schedules, and logistics. This may include designing the event layout, selecting themes, and coordinating branding and marketing efforts. Logistics Management: Oversee all logistical aspects of the event, including transportation, accommodation, signage, and technical equipment. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, ensuring the event proceeds smoothly even in unforeseen circumstances. Marketing and Promotion: Develop a marketing strategy to promote the event, which may include digital marketing, social media campaigns, email marketing, and traditional advertising. On-Site Management: Be present on the day of the event to oversee all operations, manage staff and volunteers, handle emergencies, and ensure everything goes according to plan. Attendee Experience: Ensure that attendees have a positive and enjoyable experience by addressing their needs and concerns during the event. Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports detailing the event's expenses, revenues, and profitability. Sound knowledge and experience of working with food partners Proven experience in managing in a similar environment Self-motivated, agile and ability to adapt to a changing environment Graduate/Diploma in food and beverages, hospitality, hotel background Knowledge of local language is mandatory.
