Job Purpose
The purpose of the role is evaluating the credit worthiness of clients, managing the loan approval & ensuring that credit policies are adhered to while achieving the branch's financial goal in line with Muthoot Fincorp & Muthoot Pappachan Group's strategic objectives. The role incumbent is expected to own and manage the clients onboarded across the allocated region, in collaboration with key stakeholders and cross functional teams.

VIJAYAWADA - CHILAKALURIPET, DHARMAVARAM, GUDIVADA, HINDUPUR, KURNOOL, MACHILLIPATNAM, PRODATTUR, VIJAYAWADA.
VISAKHAPATNAM - ANAKAPALLE, ANAPARTHY, BOBBILI, KAKINADA, PALASA, RAJAHMUNDRY, RAJAM, SRIKAKULAM, SRUNGAVARAPUKOTA, THUNI.
Key Job Responsibilities
End to End Managing of Credit Shop at the Branches assigned.
Proactively respond to the business requirements & challenges and support Branch Business Team to acquire Quality Portfolio.
To ensure FIRST TIME RIGHT of Logins at the branches, and Disbursement dockets submitted to Central Operations.
Monitor Technical & Legal functions pertaining to the branch with regard to timely receipt of Legal & Technical reports from vendors maintaining quality of the reports as well.
Own & resolve the early mortality, delinquencies and NPAs from new sourcing and existing portfolio.
To understand the competition policies regarding Micro LAP and Affordable Housing, suggest improvements in our current policies & products.
To liaison with Business, Subject Matter Experts at different levels to clear customers’ loan proposals for faster decisioning.
To constantly look out for opportunities to improve customer experience by giving inputs to the Sr. Management for addressing the unmet needs of the customer.
To retain existing live loan customers.
To effectively liaison with law authorities for resolving conflicts if any.
To build a Quality and Profitable Loan Portfolio.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Proven ability to Work under Pressure with regard to TAT, good knowledge/ experience in handling credit underwriting in the SBL/AHL/LAP.
Adherence to laid down credit policies and suggest improvements if any.
At least 5 years experience in underwriting role, with at least 3 years Mortgages & Affordable
Housing experience with exposure to Loan Origination software like Finn One, risk tools like Perfios, Hunter, Karza.
Strong understanding of appraising proposals from Lower & Middle Income Customer Segments, having worked in similar role in an Affordable Housing or NBFC, with minimum 2 years of similar exposure.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Ability to Work & Deliver business targets under pressure
Working knowledge of Collections/ Recoveries.
Role Requirements
Graduate or UG/PG or MBA in Finance/Commerce.
Prior experience in banks, NBFCs would be mandatory.
Flexible to travel around and fluent in English and vernacular languages.
