Quality Assurance Team Lead

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Be part of the Quality Assurance (QA) team that works closely with development teams predominantly based based.

• Run test scripts/use cases for trading platforms and websites to ensure it is operating correctly and to identify issues before it is launched to our customers.

• Work closely with software developers and program managers to build software artifacts (e.g., test cases, test plans, test procedures, etc.).

• Develop automation test scripts for testing server-side functions and applications.

Will need to work some US hours to effectively collaborate with the team.

• Document issues or bugs found and the steps taken to recreate them.

• Perform integration and regression tests before products are released to our customers.

• Report system bugs, debug and isolate problems, and verify the fix.

• Perform smoke tests during market hours to ensure applications are performing per design after the products are in production.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of relevant programming experience, preferably in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Software Engineer role.

• 3+ year of programming/automation experience in Java, Python, TypeScripts, UNIX Scripts required

• Experience leading/managing/mentoring a team of QA engineers, drafting and executing test plans.

• Experience in both Windows OS and Unix-based OSes

• Well-versed in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Familiarity with software testing tools.

• Experience in writing SQL queries.
