The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager or Assistant Manager from the food and beverage or FMCG space who can bring their expertise in one or more of the following areas: commodities, raw materials, or indirect materials. Whether your experience lies primarily in one of these categories or you’ve worked across multiple areas, we want to hear from you Your role will involve optimizing procurement strategies, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, and building strong supplier relationships to meet our company’s evolving needs.
Our goal is to bring in someone who can complement and strengthen our existing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead procurement activities for commodities, raw materials, and/or indirect materials, ensuring cost efficiency, supply continuity, and quality standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance.
Analyze market trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams to make data-driven procurement decisions.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, process optimization, and risk mitigation within the supply chain.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and sustainability goals.
Support collaboration between procurement and other departments, including finance, operations, and production.
Desired Experience & Skills:
5 - 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with expertise in commodities or raw materials, and/or indirect materials.
Experience in the food and beverage or FMCG sectors is highly desirable.
Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
Solid analytical abilities with a keen understanding of market trends and supplier dynamics.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
