Job Role: Software Test Engineer - Automation (4 – 7 Years)Location: Chennai | Full-time | OnsiteAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a hands-on Automation Test Engineer who enjoys solving problems, building reliable test automation, and making sure software works the way it should. If you’re strong in Python, Selenium WebDriver, and Pytest and have a knack for spotting issues before customers do, we’d love to talk to you.Roles and Responsibilities:Build and maintain automation scripts using Python + Selenium + Pytest .Run tests across browsers and help us keep our CI/CD pipelines green.Log and track bugs in JIRA , working closely with developers to get them fixed.Use tools like TestRail/Zephyr to plan, track, and share test progress.Be part of sprint planning and contribute ideas to improve quality.Required Skills:4 –7 years of automation testing experience.Solid skills in Python, Selenium WebDriver, Pytest .Comfortable with JIRA and test management tools ( TestRail/Zephyr ).A good grasp of Agile/Scrum and software testing lifecycle .Strong communicator with an eye for detail.Nice to HaveAPI testing (Postman/REST Assured).CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).Performance testing (JMeter).
