Galaxy leverages its 'Consumer to Chemistry' value proposition to address the requirements and needs of HPC wherein Green Chemistry has been the base for the recent path-breaking innovations at Galaxy. Role Summary: The role holder will play a significant role in specialty portfolio in product management team where the incumbent will be responsible for new product & market development leveraging technical expertise. Primary Responsibilities: • Use Technical expertise to identify potential products which can be introduced in the Funnel basis Trends and Existing Capabilities. Work with the R&D team where expertise can be leveraged to address complimentary sectors using existing products/capabilities • Monitoring the Innovation Review Flow – Existing. Review the Products in the Funnel and monitor compliance with the Stage Gate requirements checklist. Align with all processes where there are gaps and close them. • IRM – Work with BD, Sales & Marketing teams to ensure complete development of BOSCARD. Establishing Market Linkage along with Detailed Competition Mapping and Margin derivation working along with Business Members. Assess the potential applications and scope for New Product in various applications working with teams. • Work with the Marketing and BD Teams for New Product Introductions. Define where necessary and ensure compliance with rules defined for New Products introduction and Stage Gate requirements • Technical Queries and Complaints Resolution – Mechanism to ensure proper closure and zero repetition steps working with the Product Operations, Business Quality teams • Work with the R&D team in carrying out studies to establish claims for positioning of the product + define and review of technical studies done. Review the TDS MSDS FDA Requirements and work with the Business Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure proper closure • Work with the Product Strategy and Pricing team on positioning of new products basis technical understanding and claim studies done• Monthly Reports and Quarterly Report on Global Beauty and Personal Care happenings leveraging on various subscriptions which also captures new launches + patents expired and potential opportunitiesQualification: Ph.D Chemistry with 5+ years of relevant experience or knowledgeOffice Location: Navi Mumbai
