AE7 ( is a globally renowned multi-disciplinary design firm known for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence.   AE7 seeks an experienced and dynamic Urban Designer to join our team as a Lead master planner and Urban Designer. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality design solutions.
Work Location : Gurgaon, India
Responsibilities
· Provide technical leadership in managing the day-to-day operations of the design studio, including resource allocation, project scheduling, and budget management.
· Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure the successful execution of projects.
· Manage design projects from inception to completion, overseeing all phases of project development, including conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation.
· Ensure the quality control and assurance of design deliverables, conducting regular design reviews and providing feedback to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
· Provide design leadership and direction, guiding the team in developing innovative design solutions that meet client objectives and exceed expectations.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project goals, objectives, and design criteria, ensuring alignment with client needs and project requirements.
· Represent AE7 in client meetings, presentations, and industry events, showcasing our capabilities and expertise in design and project management.
· Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging design and project management technologies, incorporating new ideas and methodologies into studio operations.
· Willingness to travel as needed for project meetings and site visits.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's and master's degree in Urban Design or related field.
· Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in masterplanning, with a proven track record of leading and managing design teams on complex projects.
· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members.
· Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
· Comprehensive understanding of international benchmarks, best practices, planning policies, construction techniques, and building codes and regulations.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting project deadlines and budgetary requirements.
· Experience working in a multi-disciplinary design firm or architectural practice is preferred.
· Exposure to projects in the Middle East or relevant international experience is preferred.
