About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead - Governance , Risk & Compliance (GRC) professional to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our GRC program, ensuring it effectively identifies, assesses, manages, and mitigates risks while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's GRC program.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework, including risk identification, assessment, prioritization, and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee compliance activities for various regulations and standards like ISO 27001:2022, GDPR, SOX, DPDP Act (2023), etc.
- Manage and collaborate with internal stakeholders across different departments (e.g., IT, Legal, Finance, Engineering, HR, etc.) to ensure alignment on GRC initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and regulators.
- Identify and implement GRC technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance program effectiveness.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in GRC, and recommend improvements to the program.
- Develop and maintain GRC documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
What You Will Need for this Position:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing a comprehensive GRC program.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000, NIST CSF).
- Strong understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Documenting and collecting relevant evidences and track compliance periodically
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with GRC technology solutions (a plus).
- Certifications in GRC (e.g., CISA, CGRP, ISO27001 LA) a plus.
