The Team

Work you’ll do
The internal Audit practice of Deloitte India is hiring professionals with experience in internal audits, process reviews, development of operating procedures, and Internal controls / SOX.
Responsibilities
1. Planning engagement with Client Management and Internal Stakeholders.
2. Clearly defining audit charter, timeliness, expectation and organizing and leading Kick off meetings with Client Management.
3. Review audit progress, checklists, and programs to ensure coverage as per scope approved by the client and inputs provided by Partner/ Director.
4. Periodic audit progress meetings with Client Management and Key Stakeholders.
5. Review of work progress, deliverables and ensure quality and timeliness of delivery .
6. Participation in discussions with Process Owners and HOD and ensuring closure of audit observation.
7. Review of final reports and their finalization.
8. Preparation of Audit Presentation and Presentation to client Senior Management.
9. Preparation and review of MIS for Project progress, Profitability, and execution.
10. Participation in monthly meetings conducted by Client Management including Business heads, HODs, and Board Members.
11. Evaluation and identification of leading practices and recommendations to clients for specific business processes and controls.
12. Co-ordination with different solution teams involved in the project and ensuring quality and timeliness of delivery.
13. Identification of opportunities at the client for engaging on new solutions/ service offerings including automation & Data Analytics.
14. Recommending technology for process efficiency.
Experience
1. 8 to 15 years post post-qualification experience
2. Experience in internal audits, business process reviews, IFC/ SOX and well-versed with process and system reviews.
3. Experience in business development, BD activities, and proposals is a must.
4. Must be CA and any other added qualification like MBA /CIA/CFEs/CISA would be desirable
5. Sector focus from Infrastructure/ Power/ Real Estate/manufacturing/Metals & mining companies.
6. Candidates from consulting, Big4s/Big6s or CA firms are preferred.
