Chief Operating Officer

Reports To: Managing Director (MD)
Job Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the company's ongoing operations and procedures. As a key member of the senior management team, the COO will report directly to the MD and establish policies that promote company culture and vision through its operations. The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, Legal, Purchase, CRM etc.).
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Implement operational best practices and continuously improve processes.
- Ensure that the company's operational processes remain legally compliant.
2. Strategic Planning:
- Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
- Collaborate with the MD in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.
3. Financial Management:
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors.
- Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and within budget constraints.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
4. Leadership :
- Act as a key member of the executive team, contributing to the overall strategy and direction of the company.
- Provide leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are put into practice.
- Develop and implement a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
- Identify and manage risks to the business.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats.
- Ensure that the company’s operations adhere to legal guidelines and in-house policies.
6. Customer and Stakeholder Relations:
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance its reputation and business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as COO or relevant role in real estate Industry.
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, Legal, Purchase etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
