Position Overview:
As a Public Relations Lead , you will be responsible for developing and overseeing strategic initiatives to enhance the school's reputation and visibility across multiple brands within Ekya Schools. You will lead media relations, manage public communications, and drive PR campaigns to effectively promote school events and achievements. The role requires strong leadership in managing media inquiries, coordinating high-profile events, and overseeing all PR activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Development & Execution
- Lead the development and execution of public relations strategies to elevate the school's brand and visibility across multiple distinct school brands within our portfolio
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, ensuring effective management of all media inquiries.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, articles, and promotional materials for key school events and accomplishments.
Media Relations & Communication
- Monitor media coverage and manage the school's social media platforms to maintain a positive public image.
- Organize, lead, and coordinate public relations events and campaigns, ensuring smooth execution.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and other external partners.
Content Creation & Messaging
- Direct and oversee content creation for all PR communications, including press releases and speeches.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to stay ahead and adapt PR strategies as needed.
- Oversee the production of high-quality media assets (e.g., press releases, newsletters, pitches, reports).
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and admissions to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment of PR initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and detailed analysis of PR performance to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- This leadership role requires strategic vision, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage both external relationships and internal coordination across teams.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in public relations and media
