Job Title: Public Relations Assistant

 

Job Description:

The primary objective of the Public Relations Specialist is to manage external communications and maintain a positive public image for the organization.

This role involves crafting press releases, media relations, and managing public-facing communications to ensure an accurate portrayal of the organization's brand and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute PR campaigns that align with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Write and distribute press releases, speeches, and other communications
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts to secure positive coverage for the organization
  • Monitor and manage the organization's public image, responding to media inquiries and managing crises
  • Collaborate with the social media team to manage public statements and responses on digital platforms
  • Organize and manage press events, product launches, and interviews
  • Analyze PR campaign performance and generate reports for leadership teams

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism
  • 3+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in a corporate or agency setting
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Experience managing media relationships and press events
