"ERP - IFS Cloud- Finance Module Functional Consultant.

As an IFS Finance consultant mainly, you would be involving in multiple kind of projects such as Implementation, Support, or Upgrade Projects for IFS ERP.


Job Responsibilities:

Implementation & Upgrade:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation/upgrade projects for IFS Finance, focusing on AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash/Bank Payment, and more.
  • Gather business requirements and map processes to IFS ERP, preparing solution definition documents (TO-BE).
  • Migrate master, basic, and transaction data into IFS Test Environment and prepare migration templates for testing.
  • Prepare Functional Specification and Test Case documents for identified Change Requests (CRIM).
  • Perform Functional Testing, SIT (System Integration Testing), and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) efforts.
  • Provide guidance on Go-Live cut-over strategies and oversee the final migration of data to the production environment.

Support & Maintenance:

  • Offer post-Go-Live support, including resolving tickets and service requests within defined SLAs.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy in financial data.
  • Perform reconciliation of accounts and general ledger with sub-ledgers (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Fixed Assets).
  • Help the Finance department in migration activities and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly financial reports.
  • Assist in the implementation of new rules or government compliance regulations (e.g., E-Invoice).

Training & Documentation:

  • Create and deliver training materials for end-users and conduct customer training sessions and workshops.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all activities, including Functional Specifications, Test Cases, and migration plans.
  • Assist in the preparation of Go Live and Cutover plans, ensuring smooth transitions during the project lifecycle.

Cross-Domain Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchase, Project, Maintenance, and Sales Contracts modules will be an added advantage.
  • Provide cross-domain solution-driven support and offer a global perspective in project implementation.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education : M. Com / MBA (Finance) / Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant or equivalent.
  • Experience : Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IFS Finance modules (AR, AP, GL), with at least 2 years of experience in IFS Finance and 1 end-to-end implementation experience on IFS Cloud .
  • Skills :
  • Expertise in IFS Finance Modules: Company Setup, Chart of Accounts, Posting Control, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash/Bank Payment, Voucher Entry, and Inventory Accounting.
  • Proven ability to map business processes to IFS ERP.
  • Solid experience in gathering business requirements and developing solutions based on IFS standards.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
  • Experience with financial data migration and reconciliation.
  • Ability to provide effective training and support during the Go-Live phase.
