Responsibilities for this role:

The Student Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for managing a student’s AP Guru service journey. To be successful in this role, a SRM will need to have strong communication, reporting, monitoring, prioritisation, and client management skills.

 

Communication

·   SRMs are the first point of contact for students and parents utilising AP Guru services. SRMs are expected to respond to communications received from parents and students promptly (within 24 hours) and proactively communicate with parents and students with regards to a student's progress.

·   Communicate regularly (at least monthly) with parents on students’ progress, and urgently in the case of any student issues

·   Provide periodic reports to parents on students’ progress

·   Communicate with the wider AP Guru team for potential upselling opportunities, to assign appropriate tutors based on students’ goals and requirement, and to gather academic progress updates.

·   Proactively seek to resolve any issues that may arise and, if necessary, refer the issue through the appropriate escalation channel.

 

Monitoring

 

·   Regular monitoring of students’ usage and progression through AP Guru’s services

·   Flag low homework / test scores and devise solution plan with faculty

·   Taking appropriate action e.g. contacting students and / or parents where usage lags behind Roadmap

·   Attend Parent Teacher meeting and address grievances 

·   Use existing resources to create monthly tests for students

 

 

Reporting

 

·   Periodic reporting to parents on students’ progress, with input from tutors on academic progress 

 

What are we looking for? 

·   A background in education is preferable. Previous experience in operations, scheduling, or similar roles is preferred, with a focus on homework management and parent communication.

·   Ability to write clearly. 

·   Warm personality with strong communication skills. 

·   Ability to work well under limited supervision. 

·   Organization and Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. 

·   Ability to build strong customer relationships with families through excellent customer service, high cultural awareness and adaptability

·   High level of resilience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

·   Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage a range of internal and external stakeholders

·   Collaborative, with an openness to give and receive feedback

 

Salary: Rs 35,000 - 40,000 per month
