Position Summary

Our mortgage platform is built around delivering high-quality customer experiences, great rates on home loans, speed-to-close transactions, and top-notch customer service and support.

The Transaction coordinator/loan processor will work with a senior loan processor to assist them with various responsibilities in processing a home loan from start to finish. You are willing to learn new products to meet the processing needs of our mortgage advisors. You will be responsible for examining the loan application for completeness and accuracy, requesting customers for appropriate source documents, submitting a complete loan package to the lender, work on conditions, all the way to closing a mortgage loan transaction on time.

Responsibilities

· Prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly workflows through loans pipeline management

· Consult with the senior loan processor daily and weekly on loan status

· Put together loan package, gather the proper documentation

· Request, organize, and process loan documentation

· Responsiveness - communicate and respond to internal customers (Loan Advisors, Senior Loan Processor) and external customers (borrowers, 3rd party vendors) generally within 2 hours

· Update all client information appropriately and accurately in the loan operating system

· Ensure processing quality is consistent with all company policies and procedures as well as meeting all regulatory requirements

· Perform other related duties as assigned and required

 

Requirements

· Minimum 2-3 years of professional work experience as m ortgage loan processor

· Great attitude and professional demeanor

· Attention to detail is mandatory

· High customer service skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Demonstrated aptitude for self-development and learning

· Demonstrated ability to use logic and analytical thinking

· Self-motivated with a drive to excel and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

· Ability to help create and work within a structured work environment.

· Strong team player

· High level of integrity and professional ethics, in handling and maintaining confidential information.

· High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
