About Mitsu
Mitsu is a HealthTech start-up with the vision to build a future where mental health isn’t a barrier for anyone to live up to their fullest potential.
We began as a digital guided self-therapy program, helping individuals manage symptoms of depression and anxiety - an underserved space in India and globally. Through our 8-week, evidence-based smartphone solution led by clinical psychologists, we’ve achieved significant clinical outcomes.
Building on the success of our digital platform, we are now expanding to launch Mitsu Clinic, combining clinical expertise and technology to deliver high-quality mental health care in a welcoming, in-person setting.
Mitsu was founded by Amit Khanuja, an IIT Bombay and IIM Kozhikode alumnus, and former CEO of M3 India. Mitsu is backed by credible investors and advisors, including Mr. Gaurav Burman (Dabur promoter family) and successful entrepreneurs.
About the role
As a member of Mitsu’s team, you’ll work closely with a diverse, high-performing group of entrepreneurs, psychologists, marketers, engineers, and academicians.
As a part of the Clinical Team at Mitsu, You will:
- Conduct one-on-one, evidence-based therapy sessions for clients at the clinic, integrating digital tools and programs to ensure comprehensive, holistic care.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop integrated care plans that combine therapy and psychiatric treatment, aiming for the best patient outcomes.
- Partner with client organizations to deliver mental health support for employees, including Mitsu's flagship online program, and facilitate workshops, webinars, and consultations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content/marketing, product development, and operations, contributing to the growth and success of the company.
What we are looking for?
To be eligible for the position of Clinical Psychologist, you must have
- M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology degree with a valid RCI Registration
- Total experience of 0 - 3 years after completing MPhil (clinic experience preferable).
Skills required
- Experience with assessment, evaluation, and proven competency with the diagnostic criteria within the DSM-5 and ICD-10.
- Strong competency and knowledge of clinical implementation of evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, acceptance and commitment therapies, and others.
- A strong willingness to learn on the job and the ambition to integrate evidence-based clinical practices with the latest technologies that can create impact at scale.
- A self-driven approach to work with an entrepreneurial bent, can-do attitude, and a sense of ownership of the work.
- The ability to manage and navigate the ambiguity and uncertainty of working in an early-stage start-up environment by acting as a leader.
