Lead Data Engineer – Azure Cloud We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to build and manage a robust data platform on Azure Cloud . The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality, and leverage cloud technologies for efficient data processing. Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory , Databricks , and Event Hubs . Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows for data transformation and storage in Data Lake / Synapse Analytics . Create efficient data models and ensure best practices for storage and retrieval. Implement data validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting for pipeline reliability. Optimize Azure resources for performance and cost; 8+ years in data engineering or similar role. ~ Strong experience with Azure Data Factory , Databricks , Synapse Analytics . ~ Proficiency in Python , SQL , Spark . ~ Hands-on with ETL/ELT , data modeling, data lakes, and warehousing. ~ Familiarity with APIs, streaming data (Kafka/Event Hubs), and batch processing. Good to Have: Azure Purview, Delta Lake, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Terraform), Power BI. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
