As our Automation Maintenance Engineer, you will be the technical cornerstone for our advanced production machinery. Your primary mission is to maximise machine uptime, enhance operational efficiency, and drive the continuous improvement of our automated processes, directly impacting our ability to deliver quality components daily.

You will be responsible for maintaining the machinery showcased in our facility, including our 100+ automatic toroidal winding machines , 30 CNC-controlled linear winding machines , automated multi-spindle coil winders , robotic soldering systems , and a comprehensive suite of automated testing equipment.

Perform hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) on a diverse range of automated equipment, encompassing PLC-controlled winders, soldering machines, and systems driven by pneumatics and advanced servo drives.

Diagnose and maintain PLC-based control systems, with specific experience in Siemens, Xinje, and Mitsubishi (Model FX3G - 60 M) controllers.

Work with various Automation Control Systems (ABB, Win-Gen W8381, Winpac WP-8421) and Servo Drives (Delta, Xinje, RTELLIGENT, etc.) to ensure precise operation.

Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to perform effective repairs and component replacements.

Implement and refine preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for our critical automation assets to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality.

Ensure all machinery adheres to strict safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical/mechanical safety regulations.

Collaborate closely with production staff and engineering teams to resolve maintenance issues and support automation upgrades and system optimizations.

A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of automated machinery, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Excellent troubleshooting logic under pressure and experience with RCA techniques (e.g., Electrical & Electronic: Strong understanding of electrical schematics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and actuators.

Mechanical: Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, including gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Automation: Proficiency in diagnosing PLC-based systems and experience with industrial network protocols.

Software Skills: Familiarity with industrial software (e.g., Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

Certifications in PLC Programming.

Formal Electrical Safety Certification (e.g., Ability to work in shifts and any day of the week depending on weekly roster.

Follow company policies, including restrictions on personal devices during work hours.
