We are seeking a driven and experienced Social Media Analyst to join our business team. This person would be responsible for managing our analytics function for existing and future business, based out of New Delhi.
& Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth analysis of social media organic content to assess their performance and effectiveness with focus on You Tube & Instagram content.
Monitor social media platforms, trends, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Generate reports and provide regular updates on social media metrics, including engagement rates, AVDs, reach, impressions, click-through rates, SEO scores and conversion rates.
Analyse customer/audience behaviour and social media trends to identify target audience segments and develop strategies to engage and attract them.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media content strategies that align with overall marketing goals and objectives.
Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success of social media content in an always-on capacity.
Utilise social media analytics tools to gather insights and provide recommendations for optimising content and Meta Data.
Stay up-to-date with social media algorithms, platform updates, and emerging trends to ensure the effectiveness of social media strategies.
Conduct competitor analysis to identify areas of opportunity and enhance organic social media presence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and creative teams, to ensure cohesive and impactful social media campaigns.
Adept with using social media tools such as Brand Watch, Sprout, Meltwater etc.
Requirements
A Bachelors or Masters degree in data analytics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
Proficient in using social media analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, You Tube Studio Instagram Analytics, Twitter Analytics etc.
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
Familiarity with social listening tools to monitor brand mentions and sentiment analysis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present data and insights to stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to identify innovative social media strategies.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis software.
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles is a must.
