Job Description: Line Manager – 5 G/telecom
Experience: 10-12 years
Location: Bengaluru
Work type: Work from office
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Line Manager to lead and manage a team working on cutting-edge 5 G telecom projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services, team management, and hands-on experience in telecom and 5 G technologies. This role demands leadership capabilities, technical understanding, and a strategic mindset to deliver excellence in project execution and resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of engineers and developers.
Facilitate skill development and performance management for team members.
Project Execution:
Ensure timely and quality delivery of 5 G telecom projects.
Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to align team efforts with project goals.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a liaison between the team and senior management.
Provide regular updates on team performance, project status, and milestones.
Technical Oversight:
Support the team in resolving complex technical challenges in 5 G (Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3).
Stay updated with advancements in telecom technologies and provide guidance to the team.
Resource Planning:
Plan and allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands.
Drive hiring and onboarding initiatives for expanding team capacity.
Process Improvement:
Promote best practices in project management, Agile methodologies, and quality assurance.
Identify and implement improvements to optimize team performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or related fields.
8-10 years of experience in IT services with a focus on telecom and 5 G projects.
Strong knowledge of 5 G technologies, including ORAN and Cloud RAN.
Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Dev Ops, Agile methodologies, and telecom protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Agile/Scrum or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Experience collaborating with global stakeholders.
