We are seeking a data-driven and analytical Data Scientist / Analyst to join our Digital Twin of Ships team. This role is ideal for someone with strong modeling and analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex vessel behavior, assessing fleet health, and supporting sustainability initiatives through data. Model vessel behavior using historical and real-time data to support predictive analytics. Analyze fleet health metrics to identify patterns, anomalies, and maintenance needs. Apply machine learning techniques for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate insights into digital twin features. Use AWS services such as Sage Maker and Athena for scalable data processing and analysis. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering. ~12–17 years of experience in data science or analytics roles, with 10–12 years in engineering-focused domains. ~ Proven experience in Digital Twin technologies, preferably in maritime or industrial sectors. ~ Proficiency in programming and data analysis tools: Python, R, SQL. ~ Experience with machine learning techniques including predictive maintenance and anomaly detection. ~ Hands-on experience with AWS services: Familiarity with sustainability metrics modeling and environmental data analysis. ~ Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams and present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
