Creative Lead

Reports to: Head of Brand & Creative

At YourHappyLife , we are building India’s first inside-out beauty and wellness powerhouse—where cutting-edge nutraceuticals meet premium skincare. As our Creative Lead , you will define the visual heartbeat of the brand. From packaging to performance ads, from the website to video content, your craft will set the tone for how millions of consumers experience and trust us.

This is not a narrow design role. It is about creating an ecosystem of visuals, stories, and experiences that drive both brand love and conversions.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the visual identity of YourHappyLife across all brand touchpoints: packaging, website, campaigns, social, retail, and ads.
  • Build and lead a creative team (designers, videographers, editors) while managing external agencies and freelancers.
  • Develop and execute campaigns that blend storytelling (artistic, premium, aspirational) with performance marketing (snappy edits, hooks, reels that convert).
  • Lead packaging design & innovation to create shelf-stopping, premium yet scalable identities across nutraceuticals and skincare.
  • Shape digital-first storytelling through videos, reels, and content formats that win attention and drive sales on Meta, YouTube, Amazon, Flipkart, and Nykaa.
  • Redesign and elevate the website UX/UI for a seamless D2C journey that is both aesthetic and conversion-driven.
  • Create and maintain a brand design system (guidelines, templates, frameworks) that ensures consistency while enabling agility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Growth, Product, Operations) to ensure creative excellence is aligned with business outcomes.
What Success Looks Like
  • Establish a world-class brand book & design system.
  • Deliver 3–5 hero campaigns that build category authority and recall.
  • Roll out a packaging upgrades that aligns with global benchmarks.
  • Execute performance creative pipelines (weekly content, reels, ads) with clear uplift in CTRs, conversions, and ROI.
  • Redesign and optimize YHL’s website for storytelling and conversion.
  • Build a high-performing internal team with a culture of creativity, speed, and ownership.
What We’re Looking For
  • 8–12 years of experience in creative roles, with strong exposure to both brand/creative agencies and D2C/e-commerce brands.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates range: premium storytelling campaigns, packaging design, digital-first content, and performance-driven creatives.
  • Deep knowledge of performance creative formats—reels, short-form videos, motion graphics, and editing styles that convert.
  • Strong design fundamentals (typography, color, layout, UX/UI) and comfort across tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, After Effects, Premier Pro, etc.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring creative teams, and in managing external agencies/vendors.
  • Ability to balance creative ambition with commercial outcomes—you understand when to push artistry and when to optimize for performance.
  • Passion for beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and an instinct for what resonates with Indian consumers while maintaining global sharpness.
