Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration and will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting SAP systems. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operations and project implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor SAP systems, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
  • Perform system performance tuning and troubleshooting to optimize SAP landscapes.
  • Conduct system refreshes, client copies, and transports between environments.
  • Implement and maintain SAP security, roles, and authorizations.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to support SAP application performance and resolve issues.
  • Manage system backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Monitor and analyze system logs, performance metrics, and system health.
  • Coordinate with SAP support and handle escalations for system-related issues.
  • Document processes, procedures, and configurations for knowledge sharing and compliance.
  • Stay updated on SAP technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and other SAP products.
  • Proficiency in database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).
  • Experience with OS platforms such as Linux, Windows, or UNIX.
  • Knowledge of SAP Security concepts and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) and SAP Cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and its functionalities.
  • SAP certifications related to Basis administration.
