Job Summary:
The ASCP/OTM Specialist will play a crucial role in the management and optimization of supply chain and transportation operations using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This position involves implementing and maintaining Oracle ASCP and OTM modules, ensuring seamless integration with business processes, and delivering enhancements that drive operational efficiency. The Specialist will collaborate with business stakeholders to provide insights and solutions that enhance supply chain visibility, planning, and transportation management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning):
- Lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of Oracle ASCP within the Oracle EBS environment.
- Develop strategies for effective demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization.
- Monitor ASCP performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business needs.
- Configure ASCP workflows, plan collections, and planning options to meet business requirements.
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for improving supply chain operations.
Oracle OTM (Oracle Transportation Management):
- Manage and optimize Oracle OTM processes, focusing on transportation planning, execution, and freight settlement.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to set up OTM configurations, such as carrier rate agreements, route planning, and transportation reporting.
- Maintain OTM workflows within Oracle EBS, ensuring smooth integration with other supply chain and logistics processes.
- Develop solutions for improving transportation efficiency, including carrier optimization, route optimization, and on-time delivery metrics.
- Provide support to end-users in troubleshooting OTM-related issues and ensuring proper utilization of the system.
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration of ASCP and OTM modules within the Oracle EBS platform.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement data interfaces between Oracle modules and external systems.
- Manage upgrades, patches, and system enhancements for ASCP and OTM in Oracle EBS, ensuring alignment with evolving business requirements.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work with cross-functional teams including supply chain, logistics, procurement, and finance to ensure proper system functionality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for users of ASCP and OTM, providing training and ongoing support.
- Participate in project teams, driving key initiatives focused on supply chain and transportation process improvements.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, or related field.
- Advanced degrees (MBA, MS) or professional certifications (APICS, Oracle certifications) are a plus.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle ASCP and OTM within the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning, logistics, and transportation management.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, including ASCP and OTM implementations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including demand and supply planning, production scheduling, and order fulfillment.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth understanding of Oracle ASCP and OTM modules within the Oracle EBS framework.
- Experience with Oracle EBS setups, configurations, workflows, and integration points.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database queries.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture and technical frameworks.
Preferred Certifications:
- Oracle Certified Expert in Oracle ASCP and/or OTM.
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar certifications.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on supply chain and logistics processes.
