Tech – MechanicalRESPONSIBILITIESPlan, execute & monitor maintenance activities on a day-to-day basis in compliance with current good manufacturing practices.Plan, coordinate, execute & monitor plant projects, modifications, and expansion activities.Review and approval of standard operating procedures related to engineering and ensure effective implementation.Review and approve quality system documents i.e., IQ/OQ/PQ/VQ and requalification pertaining to engineering department in relevance to quality system.Day-to-day interactions with managers and executives to make them aware in detail about the relevant machines/ systems and to understand them about engineering and GMP requirements.Day to day interaction with vendors and contractors about the quality and timelines of the workEstablish the inventory management concept of engineering items in engineering stores.Monitor energy consumption of entire plant and to have effective implementation of energy saving protocols.Prepare engineering budget and its effective monitoring.Coordinate with QA department for effective implementation of quality systems.Ensure up gradation of the systems in relevance to environmental health and safety.Review change control proposals, deviations and CAPA related to engineering.Compliance with engineering legal aspects.Implementation of energy saving proposalsMonitor and execute engineering capex’s.Ensure timely completion of specific jobs assigned by the management.Desired SkillsMust have sufficient years of experience in engineering department of a reputed pharma API organization.Experience of USFDA exposure is a must.Planning, coordination, execution & monitoring of plant level projectsGood technical Know-how and exposure to latest technology and process equipmentAbility to pivot and try innovative approaches when faced with challenges.Very good communication (written and oral), interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.Leadership, mentoring and team building skills.Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages.
