Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Power Automate Developer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Microsoft Power Automate and be able to design, implement, and optimize workflows and automation processes across various applications and platforms. As a Power Automate Developer, you will work closely with business teams to automate manual tasks, streamline processes, and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Workflow Development & Automation:

Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) to improve business processes.

Integrate Power Automate with various Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Teams, Outlook) and third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce, SQL Server, REST APIs).

Create custom connectors to integrate with non-Microsoft applications and legacy systems.

Process Optimization & Improvement:

Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to identify manual, repetitive tasks that can be automated for efficiency.

Analyze business processes and propose workflow automation solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workflows, ensuring high-quality and error-free solutions.

Power Automate Management:

Maintain and monitor workflows, ensuring they run smoothly and handle exceptions effectively.

Optimize and fine-tune workflows for better performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Implement error handling, logging, and reporting mechanisms to track workflow performance and success rates.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:

Work closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions.

Provide guidance and support to team members on Power Automate best practices, standards, and design patterns.

Share knowledge and train business users on Power Automate and Power Apps capabilities.

Documentation & Reporting:

Document the design, development, and maintenance of Power Automate workflows and processes.

Create user guides and technical documentation for workflows and automation processes.

Report on workflow performance and provide insights into process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

2+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.

Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Power Apps) and their integration with Power Automate.

Experience in Power Automate Desktop for automating desktop-based tasks is a plus.

Experience with connectors, APIs, and REST and SOAP web services.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Power Automate for creating and managing workflows.

Familiarity with Power Apps and Power BI is a plus.

Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with SQL Server integration.

Experience working with data sources such as SharePoint Lists, OneDrive, Dynamics 365, and third-party APIs.

Basic knowledge of Azure Logic Apps and its similarities with Power Automate is a plus.

Experience with version control and deployment tools in Power Automate.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users and technical teams.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Power Apps in developing custom business applications is a plus.

Familiarity with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, or other Azure services for process automation is a plus.

Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Certification in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Platform Fundamentals) is advantageous.
